Hypermesh 2025 License Error
I had hypermesh 2024 installed correctly with the student license, but when I installed version 2025, I can't activate the license on it. It's saying that it's already activated in another version. How can I get a new key or use the same one?

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.
Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.
You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per – https://community.altair.com/discussion/34280/altair-student-edition-deactivate-from-one-computer-to-activate-in-another-in-the-rare-case-a-computer-is-lost-or-malfunctional#latest

I understand. But since I uninstalled the old version, I can't deactivate the key on it. I saw that in cases where we lose access to the old computer, Altair itself can deactivate the license. Do you know how I can request this?

Your license key was already deactivated in Altair One from our end, as informed above. You can reactivate the student license with the same license key.
If the still issue persists, you could go to the location of the license in the license store, this is the path in the activation tab under the license store field, delete the .lic file there and then reactivate.
Please share screenshots of the error you see if the issue persists.
