nonlinear + transient tube compression

Hello all, I am studying optistruct, and I want to do a nonlinear material and transient load tube compression analysis, but i failed. I can succeed to run the model with nonlinear material with static load or linear material with transient load. But if I combined both, I failed. Could anyone help check my model? thank you.

    Hello,

The model you shared converges easily on my end. Can you share the model that doesn't converge?

Hello , I am trying to analyze the tube compression displacement under a TLOAD (loading and unloading )

When I choosed the analysis type : transient direct, I could get the compression result. But if I choosed the analysis type : non linear transient, the calculation is converged, but the compression result is almost zero.

I attached a PPT try to explain my proble

    me.

In NLPARM you are not using any DT, or NINC.

You can for example try with DT=0.05
