AFM circuit designe in SIMLAB

Hi, I’m currently trying to simulate cogging torque and EMF in axial flux machine generator with 9 slots and 6 pair of poles. I am using symmetry feature only in XY axis (my CAD file is a one half of machine). I used AFM tool to learn and it is working fine. But i want to use my cad files, i have imported the files, meshed them, created a closed loop CUT in coils bodies, assigned materials i wanted to create a circuit. And here is my question. How should i create the circuit to use all 9 coils? I want to assigne 3 coils per phase.

When i tried to use a the same circuit as is presented in YASA machine tutorial i have an error, when i deleted the circuit, the solving worked, but without cogging torque and Back-EMF results, the value of cogging torque was zero.

So i guess the problem is in circuit designe. Please help

    Hi Robert,

You need to have one coil conductor representing each coil, as in the picture below, with three coils assigned to its current or voltage sources. In the coil conductors you can choose, if you have internal or external terminals to define current flow direction.
