I tried to model the following example question in Roak's Formulas for Stress and Strain book. General equation for the deflection of the load is shown in the Figure 2.  10587755.305 psi is used as the Young's modulus (E). So, the final result should be 7.33e-06 inches which is not the value I got from SimSolid. Attached files are as follows.

    what solver settings are you using? Adapt for stiffness?

    If so, try changing to adapt for stress, and run again to get a better accuracy.

    Thank you for your reply. Yes I tried that. Now the answer is 8.44e-06 which is not close enough.
