Multi Core Processing

Hi, is it posible to improve run times, by the use a Multi Core CPU such as an Intel Core2 Quad running on Windows 32? If so do I need to set up any flags?

    Ok ran it overnight with the -nproc 4 command a did indeed speed things up, however, watching the CPU usage in windows task manager it only ever peaked at 50%?

    Is there any way to get more out the CPU?
