I already create simple model of version 14 and 2017 .

version 14 is OK .

version 2017 is fail.

I already compare in FEM file.

I found SPC control card  have set F  in Ver. 2017.   (ex. SPC            1    2922  123456   F)

but  0.0 in ver. 14                                                       (ex .SPC            1    2922  123456   0.0   )

I' m sure what is problem for this situation . but when i change F to 0.0 , the result is OK .

Could you please tell me how to solve this problem instant  change manually .

    Maybe a bug of Optistruct's FE output template?

    Hi,

    I tried in Student edition and also on commercial version of 2017. I am not able reproduce this issue.

    Do you have any continuation subcases in your model?

    Could you edit card an SPC and confirm value after 123456 is F or 0.0?

    Hi @sagpichest

    You get this because Fixed option is checked in constriants panel. Uncheck it and try again.

    @sagpichest:D/emoticons/default_biggrin.png' srcset='/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x' title=':D' width='20' /> do not fiddle with anything you don't know

    Hi @Prakash Pagadala , what is 'fixed' option used for? I didn't find it in Optistruct reference guide v14

    @tinh

    SPC with Fixed is used in relation with CNTNLSUB for nonlinear subcase to retain deformed boundary from previous subcase.

    If you try to run when SPC is defined with fixed ON, OptiStruct fails with an error.

    This is different point between V14 and 2017 right ?
    because i don't see this function in V.14

    thanks and best regards,

    Hi @sagpichest

    Yes. Fixed in constraints panel is not available.
