Don't make data science available to everyone?
While trying to learn Python on line, I've been following Towards Data Science in Medium for about a year now. I've been trying to learn Rapid Miner Studio for about three months now. I'm especially curious why this article would appear now, claiming only with high level math and experience programming can you learn to be a data scientist.

It wasn't a particularly interesting article. This is a broad field. However, knowing some programming basics and some basic ML will make you appreciate a tool like Rapidminer even more. Programming is about breaking a problem down into steps with a logical flow. It is the same when you layout a process in Rapidminer.
@tonyboy9 I wrote this three or so years ago. It still represents my views on this.
