Hello,
I think you'll be better off using the Web Mining Extension and/or the Web Automation Extension. After all, the Facebook API is pure JSON.
It might be a little more work to do but it will give you flexibility and will help you react quickly if there are policy changes that make API's unavailable on Facebook, which is the reason on why I normally disregard using specific plugins for social networks on my developments (notice that I am not talking RapidMiner here but a general recommendation).
