Rapidserver 7 - OSX ?!
There is no RapidServer 7.2 available for OSX. Is that correct?
I am trying to connect the RapidMiner 7.2 with an older version of Rapidserver, yet its seems to be not possible due to RapidServer outdated version.
Then I looked up for a brand new version of Rapidserver and got a zip without any installer or bin folder with .sh files.
Finally I have checked the documentation and got:
Operating System
- 64-bit recommended
- Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2
- Linux

Hi..yes RapidMiner Server 7.2 works very well in OS X but all the installation is done in the Terminal. You also need to install a database (e.g. MySQL) to work with the server. The instructions are here: http://docs.rapidminer.com/server/installation/ Let me know if you need more help. I've done this several times on my Mac.
