Meta data from Read SPSS operator
seems not to be transmitted in the data flow. In particular I could not properly use a Select Attribute operator as the attributes from the sample in SPSS format are not visible in the flow. At least in a couple of experiments I performed. Any comments are welcome. Thanks.
(Obviously solutions exit, as for instance saving the dataset in an alternative format or in a data repository, etc)

the SPSS file format does not offer an easy accessible meta data format, and since we cannot read in the complete file during "meta" data transformation, there's no possibility for this file format.
Unfortunately you will have to go with the batch import...
