Contact Interface_ Interfaces treatment méthode

Hi,

i just stared using HyperCrach V.13. and come cross (in a tutoriel) the RADIOSS 's Interface treatment méthodes of each of the interfaces type : 1- Mster-Slave, 2- Penality, 3- LM (exemple : Penality for interface type 7) .

can anyone Kindly explain to me what is the difference between these three methods?
