Good day,

I want to compare RCS values of a shape with that of a model found in literature. How can I compare my simulated RCS with that of a model and plot on a diagram like the one below?

Adding multiple traces to a graph is supported in POSTFEKO and you should know how to do that, so I don't think that is your question. POSTFEKO does not support 'sub-plots' but multiple graphs can be created and the graphs (views) can be tiled so that you see them all at the same time. The are individual graphs though. Your image is cut off, so it makes it difficult to know what exactly you are trying to do.

Thanks JIF,

A more refined diagram is shown below. I want to compare the exact measurements with the simulated measurements in FEKO. That is what i want to know how to do it.

Hi Farai, 

I think you are looking to view two plots simultaneously on the same graph. If that's the case follow the steps below:

In order to do this you need to plot the simulation data from your model in POSTFEKO, once you have the graph open, you need to select the 'Home' tab in POSTFEKO then click on 'Import', a drop down menu will appear > select 'Custom data file' find the file containing the data you want to add and click the open button. 

The imported data should now be in the project browser (upper right corner in POSTFEKO), right click on the imported data and select 'add to active window'.  Both data plots should now appear on the same graph.  

Note: I have only tried this with Microsoft Notepad files (.dat format), you might run into some issues for other file formats.

Farai, as mraei047 indicated, it is possible (and easy) to create graphs as shown. I assume that you don't have a problem adding the simulated data (one or more traces) on the graph. In order to add the exact results, you can:

• Write the exact values to a file (tab / space / comma delimited) and then import it into POSTFEKO. Once imported, you will see the imported item in the project browser and you can then drag it onto the graph.
• You can also create a Lua script that creates and stores a DataSet with the exact values that can be added to the graph.

Please make sure that you have worked through the Getting Started guide and read the manual regarding importing data files in POSTFEKO.
