Hi,
As part of my studies, i'm trying to do the dynamic analysis on a crankshaft (correct me if i'm wrong).I'm getting tutorials only for Modal analysis but not for Dynamic analysis.
Could you please guide me.
regards

Hi Venkat,
Currently we don't have any tutorials/example files on crankshaft models.
But you can go through these case studies which are related to your case:

Thank you for your kind reply.
In one of your mentioned papers mentioned that we don't use any SPC's instead will apply initial velocity. As i don't have any experience with Dynamic analysis, could you please give some documents for Dynamic analysis of any component (like with some example tutorial).
There are several tutorials available online in Help Menu.
You can practise Modeling and Analysis of Honeycomb Impact Attenuator. The tutorial and model files can be downloaded at http://www.altairuniversity.com/learning-library/modeling-and-analysis-of-honeycomb-impact-attenuator/
Also, simplified car pole impact tutorial is also attached and the model file for the same is also attached. I suggest you to practise other tutorials from Help Menu. The model files for the same can be downloaded from http://www.altairuniversity.com/model-files-for-student-edition-users-accompaniment-to-the-tutorials-in-help/
Since you are new to explicit analysis I recommend you to download a free copy of our ebook on RADIOSS, which contains all theoretical aspects related to RADIOSS with examples and interactive videos. You can download from http://www.altairuniversity.com/free-ebooks-2/free-ebook-crash-analysis-with-radioss-a-study-guide/
