Hello,
I am trying to do a frequency response analysis on a structure. it's a tall cylinder with a fixed base. I am applying a unit acceleration via SPCD that is also at the base of the cylinder (same nodes as where i have the SPC). The displacement analysis shows that the entire structure is moving as opposed to swaying back and forth (like a building in an earthquake).
I'm wondering if this is correct or if i am missing something. I've attached the model below.
