Hi All,

I am currently running a simulation with 3 dummies.

When I reviewed the result, two of my dummies went disappear in the first stage of result, Any possible cause of this kind of failure?

Thanks.

Regards,

Kin Poh

    Hi Kin Poh,

Check whether the interface is defined properly between the dummy and seat belt.

    Hi George,

just checked, I had successfully run the simulation with one dummy, when I added another 2 dummies, the interface definition for the rest of the dummy are exactly the same with the first dummy. But after the simulation, the dummy went disappeared in the first stage.

    Hi Kin Poh,

    Got your .h3d file.

It seems to be an issue with the dummy. The middle dummy is a rigid one while other two are not.

    Please check the same.

    Hi George,

I think you are correct. I did a mistake that in the copying of dummy.

I used the way copying the dummy in the tree then move it accordingly in hypercrash. Since the tree do not have any rigid body content, that's the reason why the rigid body is not copying and translating.

    May I further my question?

I am now trying using the below feature in hypercrash to repositioning the dummy, below are the reading of the first dummy, I tried to export it as a M00 file, then import again it with new dummy configuration, it found that the dummy position is not the same after the new dummy import the first exported position file.

Any special step for me to get the correct export file in order for me to create new dummy positioning?

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Kin Poh

    Hi Kin Poh,

There is no special steps in between.

Likewise the first dummy, import the second one also only H-point and rotation coordinates (Rx,Ry and Rz) changes. With these values you can position the second and third dummy in the model.
