Axial symmetric analysis

Hello All,

I am doing an analysis on a cylindrical model and because of the time consuming, I start to do axisymmetric analysis on a 2D vertical section. I applied the boundary conditions right however, the results only is monitored on the first row of quad elements that face the imposed velocity i applied.

I know there is something wrong but I cannot discover it wither is with my axisymmetric option or the constraints?

your help will be appreciated!!

thank you. but i did the same as the hopkinson example with the result below. it only show the deformation in the row of quad elements where the load applied on. what is the wrong with the model?

What are the units used in the model?

There is a load curve and the same is not used. Is there a reason for that?

Kg, mm , ms, KN, J & GPa.

for the curves and different stuff, I just put them try to load it with concentrated load but it does not have any effect on the model. I don't know why, but if you have answer I will appreciate it.
