Hi all,

I want to perform a quasi static analysis with te solver Radioss to compare with optistruct results.

The model is a plate of 1000*1000 millimeters with a 10*30 quad mesh.

Each side node translation in the 3 directions are blocked.

I put load of type PLOAD wich increase linearly from 0 ms to 300 ms and stay constant from 300ms to 20s.

I activated the control card /IMPL/QSTAT to perorm a quasi static analysis.

But I have some error messages during the calculation : WARNING : THE ITERATION LIMIT NUMBER WAS REACHED   19806

And finally the time of calculation is very high ... Maybe i made something wrong in the data setting ?

Thanks

It may depend on timestep. If it's too big, you could lose your slope in PLOAD. Anyway, to compare static and quasi-static i suggest you to try with less slope, because with a high one, analysis's closer to a dynamic than a static evaluation. Let me know!
