How to output the summary of mass and C.G details for CAD and FE modal in optistruct .out file

Hello sir,

I am beginner to optistruct 

i have performed simple linear-static analysis of plate with hole using optistruct solver.

Q1. How to output the details of mass and c.g for CAD model and FE modal in optistruct .out file ?

Q2. what is this Epsilon value ? is that a error value ? why we need to check this one?

    Hi,

     

    To output mass and CoG, please add MASSPROP. Go to Control cards>> OUTPUT>> MASSPROP>>ALL

     

    Epsilon value gives you an idea how stable is the numerical problem is. As long as the value is small (in order of 1e-8), the problem is stable. If this is more then there is something wrong with the problem.
