Unable to Deactivate PSIM Student License – Old Computer No Longer Accessible

Hello Altair Support Team,

I previously activated my PSIM Student Edition license on another computer. Unfortunately, that computer suffered a complete failure, and I no longer have access to it.

I am now trying to activate my student license on a new computer, but the system indicates that the license is still associated with the previous device.

Since I cannot access the old computer to deactivate the license manually, could you please reset or deactivate the previous activation so that I can use my existing license key on my new computer?

Hi,

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
