Element Penetration limitation

Hi,

There is a possiblity in Abaqus to Limit the Deformation of the elements by larg strains. It means that if the elements are going to Penetration each other, solver does not let that and it stops the Deformation and increases the stress on the elements. Is there any similar Setting in Optistruct for that? ( linear material)

hmmm, it is interesting feature. could you tell about it or give a link? i have been working in abaqus and i think i can help you, but i didn't use and know about this feature.
