PISM student license

Question

Hello,

I have a PSIM student license and I get the error: This license was already activated on another machine.

I activated this license on my university lab PC. The lab computer has automatic system restore. After class, when I shut down the PC, all local license records are erased automatically. I cannot return to that lab computer to perform manual deactivation.

Could you please help force deactivate this license key and release the previous HostID binding?

Hi,

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
