Optimum solver settings for NLSTAT

Hello

We have installed a NVIDEA Quardo M4000 and a NVIDEA Tesla K40c graphics processor in our computer.
How can I activate it for solving respectively use it optimally?

We mainly calculate Small Displacement Nonlinear Analysis

At the moment my settings are

      -core IN -i64slv -nt 8 -ddm -np4

 

Our system is

      Windows 10 with two E5-2667 processors and 256GB RAM

Did you mean how to control the no of cores used by OptiStruct solver?

 

Graphic card does not effect the numerical results of non linear simulation. However controlling the no of cores may speed up your computation time.
