Hii everyone,
I need a help in weld evaluation using Hyperlife specification Eurocode 3.
In here we have to specify weld evaluation point properties,
In the general tab we have to input the SN curve for the material,
For eg, If I have Constant Amplitude Fatigue Loading and my detail category is 90 M Pa, My SN curve becomes flat after 2e6 cycles. something like this.
What I need is the inputs in the general section, For my case the inputs are,
Fatigue limit slope - Normal stress (Md) : 7
Fatigue limit slope - Shear stress (Md) :
Cutoff limit slope - Normal stress (Mi) : 7
Cutoff limit slope - Shear stress (Mi) :
No of cycles at fatigue limit (Nd) : 2E+06 cycles
No of cycles at cutoff limit (Nd) : 2E+06 cycles
are they correct, what about shear category EN 1999-1-3 doesn't specify shear category.
If possible how do you select those detail category from all those available detail category. How do you know which is longitudinal or transverse loading
