Windows Remote Desktop not supported

Hello,

I get an error with my student license which says that Windows Remote Desktop is not supported. I am trying to set it up on a lab server since my personal laptop is ARM-based and therefore local installation is not possible.

Does this mean that there is no way to set up this student license on my lab server for me to access?

Are my only two options the following:

a) Purchase a Windows computer

b) Have my lab purchase some non student license that would allow for a Windows Remote Desktop connection. In this case, which license would be required to purchase and would it be possible for multiple users to use to justify the purchase?
