Unable to renew expired PSIM Student Edition license because the “Renew License” button does not app

Hello,

I checked the License Usage tab in Altair License Utility and confirmed that my Student Edition license for PSIM has expired.

However, when I go to the Student Edition License card in Altair One, the “Renew License” button does not appear. Therefore, I cannot renew the license by myself.

Could you please renew or reissue a valid PSIM Student Edition license key for my account?

My Altair One account email is dbwls8019@konkuk.ac.kr.

The Renew option should appear once your Student Edition license key expires.

I have re-added you to the system using the email address you are here communicating from. Please use this account to access the Student Edition, as per: https://community.altair.com/discussion/34207/instructions-to-access-the-free-altair-student-edition-now-in-altair-one#latest

Regarding your first screenshot 'the License Usage tab in Altair License Utility', the software appears to be using the Academic Edition / university-managed license.

If you would like to use the Student Edition license instead, please disconnect from the managed license by setting an environment variable:

Name: ALM_HHWU

Value: F

This will disconnect managed licensing and allow the Student Edition license to be used.

If you want to use only the managed license instead, set:

Name: ALM_HHWU

Value: T

Once done please use either just the free student edition license or the managed licensing activation methods.

Hi Ankita,

I think there may have been a misunderstanding.

I am not asking where the renew function is. I have already tried the renewal procedure in the link you provided several times.

The issue is that the Renew License button itself is not displayed in my Student License Card → Licensing tab. Therefore, I have no way to renew the license through the normal procedure.

Could you please check my screenshot again? It clearly shows that the Renew License button is missing from my Licensing tab.
