How to automatically improve elements failing min size criteria

Question

I have generated my 2D tetra shell mesh which is of relatively good quality in terms of skew, aspect ratio and jacobian.

I have 99 elements that would not meet my minimum size requirements and have also selected their adjacent elements. Below is just a few of them

I get an error by rebuild that a size (0.16) conflicts with my criteria set for my 2mm mesh and does not run. Similarly, by auto quality no improvements are made.

The only thing that currently works is "Replace", but here I used one to one and it is very tedious to ensure the smalllest side of the tetra's is removed.

How can I do it such that it is more time effective as replacing one by one takes a lot of time. If anybody has some material or advice I would greatly appreciate this as the tutorials do not show this

yes, only select adjacent elements of the failed element and equivalence. After deleting the failed elements you can check the distance between the nodes and accordingly give the tolerance value. At the end verify each area.

I will give this a try! So equivalence per adjacent node set and not an equivalence of the whole component!

Hi,

You can save those failed elements and delete it. Then you can equivalence the adjacent elements as you captured in your image by giving higher tolerance. At the end check for edges for verification.
