Subject: Issue with PSIM Student License Activation - Error: License already exists in license store

Hi Altair Support Team,

I am a second-year Electrical Engineering student at Ariel University. I am reaching out because I am encountering an issue while trying to activate my PSIM student license.

I am trying to reactivate the software using my current activation key: LQGKR-Q7JPH-S42DX-O5K0D.

However, when I attempt to complete the activation, I receive the following error message:"Error activating license: License already exists in license store".

As shown in the attached screenshot, the License Store path on my machine is:C:\Users\omerd\AppData\Local\.altair\licensing\omer\licenses

I would like to clarify a few details:

• I am trying to activate the software on the same personal laptop I used previously.
• I am not using a Virtual Machine (VM).
• Despite the message stating that the license already exists, the software is not running properly and seems to require a reactivation or a reset.

Could you please reset my activation key or guide me on how to clear the existing local license file from the store so I can complete the installation for my academic lab work?

The message license already exists in license store means the activation is already successful,

You could go to the location of the license in the license store, this is the path in the activation tab under the license store field, delete the .lic file there and then reactivate,
