I am writing to request technical assistance regarding a persistent license activation error with PSIM. I am a student using the Student Edition registered with my university email.
Despite successfully receiving the license, I am unable to run the software due to a credential/activation conflict. Here are the details of the issue:
- The Core Problem: It seems the license was incorrectly registered at the System level instead of the User level, or there is a conflict between the two. Even after deactivating and reactivating, the software fails to launch.
- Persistent Credentials: Even after uninstalling and performing a clean reinstall multiple times, the software seems to "remember" my previous login attempts, leading to an immediate error upon startup.
- Troubleshooting Done: I have tried deactivating the license, deleting the installation folder, and reinstalling, but the issue persists. It appears that some license configuration or cache files remain on my system, preventing a fresh login.
I have an urgent academic assignment due soon, so your prompt guidance on how to completely clear the license cache or reset my activation status would be greatly appreciated.
