Altair Student License Re-registration After Account Deletion

Hello,

I have a question about the Altair Student License.

If I deactivate the student license linked to my current account and then delete that account, can I sign up again with my university email and activate a new student license without any issue?

Please let me know if this is allowed.

Hi @SungJun

You can delete your account from Altair One and re-register with the same university email. Please let me know if you need us to delete your account for you.

Kindly note the following regarding the Altair Free Student Edition license:

- The student license is valid for use on one device only and cannot be shared or activated on multiple machines at the same time.

- The deactivation and reactivation feature is only intended for cases where a computer breaks down or is reformatted, and is only allowed a limited number of times per user.

- Deactivating an account does not require its deletion. Deactivation of an account can be performed without permanent removal of the account from Altair one. You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate it on another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
