Migration to Siemens

Altair have gone dark. No response from Siemens support or my account manager.
I can't find my Site ID and that seems to be needed to complete setup of the Siemens account.

I have multiple E-mails saying I will get an E-mail with details to login, and an E-mail saying I should have had an E-mail with instructions, but no actual E-mail with instructions. I guess this is now a dead system so no doubt this is also pointless.

I'm sorry that you're facing some issues with the migration to the Siemens system.

I'll reach out internally to our SFDC Support group and see what went wrong.

Did you receive any emails from a Siemens email (@siemens.com) or only from an Altair email (@altair.com)?

The E-mails saying the migration was going to happen, and had happened were from @altair.com.

The only E-mail I had from Siemens was a verification one when starting the account setup process.

Was I supposed to have had an actual E-mail to me personally with instructions? that's what the others implied.

I now realise that the setup doesn't "Need" the site ID (So why is it asking for it??). Non-obvious.
Anyway hopefully the setup will be complete "within 5 working days",
Also, it's not at all clear what "Product" I should be picking, nothing really matches Hyperworks/Optistruct/Inspire/General Altair partner alliance products etc. Hopefully that also doesn't matter.

Is it possible you may have duplicate contact information for your account? Is there maybe an old email that you previously had assigned to your account that may have received the migration information?

Yes I've been through all the instructions.
I completed the sign in without a site ID
That got rejected, but by an actual person possibly and I have found a "siteID" so I have responded to the rejection, fingers crossed…

Hi @KChambers,

Sorry, what I meant was that in our systems some Users may have duplicate contact information setup. This may be from updating your account's email, phone number, etc. If there is duplicate information, then the activation email may have been sent to your previously used email, for example.

Users who also experienced this issue reported that using the Forgot Password tool in Support Center was able to resolve the contact information issue.

Please try resetting your password in Support Center and to see if the activation email is then pushed through.
