Shell Thickness Offset Display Error

Hello,

I have a mesh of shell elements in Optistruct that have an offset value assigned to them. The shell represent an inner surface of a duct so the offset is there to make the thickness extrude outwards from this inner surface. Using the Display thickness tool however just shows these elements being extruded from the shell as a mid-surface.

In the FEM file the PSHELL card shows the offset value in its bulk data entry. So my question is, does the display thickness tool not take into account PSHELL offsets?

Please update to v2026. As you can see, with newer version you can look at the offset:
