Hello everyone, I am using HyperMesh Student Edition 2026 on my ASUS laptop.I keep getting a "Segmentation Error" immediately after startup or when trying to create basic geometry (like circles). As you can see in the attached screenshots, before the crash, the graphics glitch (red trails appear), and then the software closes. My System: * Laptop: VivoBook (Intel i7 11th Gen) * Version: HyperMesh 2026 Student Edition * RAM: 20GB (4GB soldered + 16GB stick) * GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX350 + Intel Iris Xe What I have already tried (but didn't work): * Clean Re-install of the 2026 version * Forced NVIDIA GPU: I set hwx.exe to "High Performance" in Windows Graphics Settings and NVIDIA Control Panel. * Deleted Settings: I keep deleting hm.settings and command.tcl from Documents before starting. My System:

What I have already tried (but didn't work):

Clean Re-install of the 2026 version

Try deleting all the settings files as per the comment in this post -

also make sure you have full permissions in the folders in use, including the folder where the model file is saved and the temp files, perhaps reinstall as administrator …

Hi, thank you for your reply. I tried following the steps you suggested, but unfortunately, they didn't work.

I managed to resolve the issue by doing the following: File --> Preferences --> Performance (I changed the Preset from 'Standard' to 'Performance').

I suspect the problem was related to anti-aliasing, which is disabled in Performance mode, though I’m not entirely sure. I suppose I could have disabled only anti-aliasing under File --> Preferences --> Graphics, but I’m hesitant to change anything now that it’s finally working.

Now that it’s working, could you tell me what the actual cause of the problem might have been? Thanks again for your help!
