Track collision - EDEM

Hello everybody

Trying to study collisions in a planetary milll between the milling media (ball-balls, balls-jar) using the "Track Collisions" option. However, when I export the data, all values related to the number of collisions between elements are zero (standard option). Is there anything else I need to do?

Hi, for track collisions you have to specify this in the Simulator, there is a 'track collisions' tickbox that needs to be selected.

Track collisions specifically only works on CPU not GPU.

There is a new collision energy model which works on GPU but doesn't give individual particle collisions data https://help.altair.com/edem/topics/creator_tree_physics/collisional_energy_tracking_model_r.htm
