I’m reaching out to seek your guidance after a very unfortunate data-loss incident that occurred while using RapidMiner.
While working in RapidMiner, an entire Desktop folder was accidentally imported into the RapidMiner repository. This Desktop contained a large amount of important personal data collected over many years. Later, the imported content was deleted from within RapidMiner Studio.
After the deletion, the files did not appear in the system Recycle Bin / Trash, and attempts to recover the data using standard recovery tools were unsuccessful. At this point, the data appears to be lost.
This situation has been extremely distressing, and we’re hoping the someone might be able to share any suggestions, guidance, or ideas that could help determine whether there is any possibility at all of recovering the data, or if there are any steps still worth trying.
If anyone has encountered something similar or has experience with such cases, your input would be greatly appreciated. Even general advice or confirmation would be helpful.
