I' a student and have followed and completed all the steps of the student edition tutorial page, but when i want to start ESAComp, the error message on the left appears.
I have installed altair licensing 2026.0 with the license key option in the install process, and I have also added the license key in almutil_gui.exe on the activation tab.
Also tried to solve this error by creating a altair_lic.dat file with only my license key in it, and placing it in the ESAComp directory, as the license path says in the error message.
In that case i get this error message, expanded with error code 4:
I have also tried uninstalling and than reinstalling both programs but nothing changed.
