S-FRAME suite v2026 is now available, and this version adds building codes, looking to improve the everyday workflow for its users. Keep reading this article so you can know all of these implementations!
Structural Design
2 major implementations were added to this S-FRAME version, being the support for the South Korean KDS 41 2022 building code, and additional support for the Indian code.
For the South Korean code, this support also includes Automatic seismic loads generation (KDS 41 17 00:2022) and Automatic wind Loads generation (KDS 41 12 00:2022) features.
For the additional support features, this version also includes Automatic seismic loads generation (IS 1893-1:2016), and Automatic wind Loads generation (IS 875-3:2015)
The link between S-FRAME and Revit now allows geometry import from Revit 2025 & 2026.
Concrete Design
It is possible to use the South Korean KDS 14 20 00:2022 along the whole section analysis and design processes, as S-CONCRETE and S-LINE support it. This implementation also applies to the concrete section’s mass-design feature “Multi-Story Designer” (MSD).
Foundation Design
S-FOUNDATION now allows support for the latest Canadian concrete design code, CSA A23.3:24, enabling its usage for all current tools within the software.
In the same implementation thread, and complementing previous additions, the Eurocode 3 is now available in S-FOUNDATION, including the Germany, Spain, and France national annexes.
Timber Design
Just as previous implementations mentioned in this post, the Eurocode makes a presence, being supported as per the Eurocode 5, according to the British Standard National Annex, in S-TIMBER, enriching the current options.
Steel Design
The quick code-check and design tool S-PAD is also coming with new codes on its content, being the South Korean KDS 14 31:2024 steel code, and the Canadian CSA S16-24 steel code, allowing a swift validation with these references.
