SimLab License

Hello, I am a student and I am trying to install SimLab.

I successfully downloaded Altair

SimLab 2025.1 and generated the license.

I successfully activated the license within the almutil_gui.exe utility, but when I open SimLab, I get the following error:

I don't know how to proceed to resolve the following error. I also tried entering the username and password for my Altair account.

Yes, the student edition is not supported on remote / virtual pc

If the key was used successfully in the activation tab of the ALMUTIL,

You can try by navigating in the window you show in your image to the license file and selecting it,

Go to the Local File > License File and navigate to the path in blue in your activation tab and select the .lic file in that location and click activate …

Hi Rahul, thank you for your reply. I have selected the licence file (.lic), but the software always returns the same error.
I am using a remote desktop. Could that be the problem?
