Description:
I am moving from a free-free modal analysis to a configuration that should represent a free-free experimental modal test setup. I want to support a plate using very soft springs at its nodes, so the model is held in space but still behaves almost as free-free.
My idea is:
• the springs should act normal to the plate (or with minimal stiffness in all translational DOFs)
• one side of each spring is attached to a node on the plate
• the other side of the spring should be fully fixed (SPC all DOFs)
So that the plate remains supported but not rigidly constrained.
The main problem:
I don’t know the most efficient workflow to create these springs at all plate nodes while ensuring that the “opposite side” of every spring is automatically constrained. I tried using CBUSH or spring 0D elements with Connectors, but I run into realization issues because my spring nodes do not belong to any mesh.
This is the best solution I came up with so far, but it is not mandatory if there is a simpler standard method.

Here the plate for reference, it's quite simple one
