After reformatting my computer, I’m unable to reactivate my Altair Student Edition license for FEKO.
What I’ve already tried
- Ran Altair License Utility as Administrator.
- Cleared the local license store folder (
…\AppData\Local\.altair_licensing\WS\licenses) and removed any old altair_lic.dat. - Verified the current HostID in the HostID tab.
- Attempted activation again in the Activation tab (same error as above).
- Tried Managed Licensing (Altair One authorization) to work around the issue—FEKO still doesn’t activate with the Student Edition key.
- Attempted to contact the Student Edition email address listed in community posts, but the mailbox bounced (domain not found).
How can I fix this?
