Student License Activation Error - "Already activated using different HostIDs"

Hello Altair Support Team,

I am a student using a free student license for Altair PSIM. I initially activated my license on my computer running Windows 11. I am now trying to activate it on the same machine, but in a different operating system (Linux Mint, in a dual-boot setup).

I am receiving the error: "Error activating license: This license was already activated using different HostIDs."

To solve this, I have already logged into my Altair One account and removed all "Authorized Machines" from my profile. However, the error persists. My Host ID (MAC Address) on Linux Mint is: 18:c0:4d:52:0f:d5 Could you please check the status of my license key and reset it so I can activate it on my Linux Mint system?

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –

Hi,

I have three storage devices (1 SSD and 2 HDs). Recently, I migrated by Windows for Linux, so at the moment, I using the SSD for Linux and the smaller HD for windows. I formated the bigger HD(it was the secondary one, with the softwares) for use it how secondary HD on Linux. Since then, I've been experiencing much better performance on my computer.

How I lost the hard drive where the program was installed, and I can't deactivate it. Could you deactivate it for me? Please.
