The Community Team would like to introduce the September Champion of the Month, Dr. César Pérez @Caperez.
Dr. César Pérez is an industrial engineer and scientist whose career bridges higher education, research, and business leadership. His work spans complex dynamic systems, materials science, data analysis, and decision-making for both research and enterprise contexts.
With extensive expertise in explicit and implicit finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), machine learning, deep learning, electronics, and programming, he integrates simulation, data-driven insights, and advanced computation across domains such as automotive, industrial production, and healthcare. His academic vocation includes teaching and mentoring in complex systems, materials, and applied data science, while his research focuses on leveraging simulation and AI to advance knowledge in materials, finance and health sciences.
César also brings solid experience in management, having directed business units and areas where technology, innovation, and data-driven strategies converge. His multidisciplinary background includes a PhD in Science, an MBA, and several specializations in data science, programming, and finance, enabling him to navigate seamlessly between technical depth and strategic leadership.
