Pressure is time dependent so which solution type

Hello,

I need to do a simulation in Simlab that I need to set pressure on the inner surface of a expansion tank which is repeated for thousands of times for certain pattern, I am trying to figure out which solution type of analysis I should assign(transient analysis but specifically which in Simlab) to get a structual analysis to know the max stress etc. Is there anyone who did some cases similar or have such experiences that can provide some help for me? thanks a lot!🐣

Hello Sandra,

You can either use Non Linear Static or Non Linear Transient. On both you can define time dependent pressure. If you are only interest in the last state, you can better use Non Linear Static:
