Hi all,
I'm currently working on static eccentricity in my motor design, but in trying solve the model, I'm encountering an issue that isn't immediately obvious to me and would appreciate your input.
The problem seems to be related to the air gap, as flagged by the software. I’ve structured the air gap into three regions:
- One part attached to the rotor using a 6-degree-of-freedom mechanical set.
- One part attached to the stator with a fixed mechanical set.
- An inner air gap defined with a compressible mechanical set.
Note: I have not applied any periodicity due to the presence of the compressible air gap.
The flux 2d provides a notification referencing a specific line on the air gap boundary, which it identifies as being problematic I have inspected this line and found no visible issues. I have checked geometry, physics, and mesh, and flux 2d indicates that they are all correctly defined.
I've attached a ZIP file containing the model for reference. Thank you.
