How to extract water level height (volume fraction = 0.5) at left and right tank walls in each time

Description:

I am using SimLab to perform a sloshing simulation of a water tank. The simulation uses the volume fraction (vf) to represent the water-air interface.

I would like to extract the water level height at the left and right inner walls of the tank at each time step, where the water level is defined as the position where vf = 0.5.

What I want to achieve:An automated or semi-automated method to extract the water height at:

Left inner wall

Right inner wall

The extracted data should be output in CSV or TXT format for each time step for further analysis.

Maybe somebody with more direct knowledge of data post in SimLab has ideas.

From the solver side - if you have those side surfaces as separate named boundaries/sets - you can extract the desired quantity at each time step - using acuTrans or acuGetNodeSubset. But you'll need to use other tools/scripts outside of anything in-built to determine where that quantity reaches the desired value at each time step.
