Altair student license problem

My computer has been formatted and now I have to use PSIM for a project of mine. Through research I have found that I need to have access to my old PC for deactivation. Since the computer has been formatted and I can no longer access the previous installation, is it possible for the support team to deactivate the license for PSIM on my behalf?

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.
