Entity Editor has gone AWOL

Description: I can't find the Entity Editor

Product/Topic Name : HyperMesh 2024, OptiStruct

I have lost the Entity Editor. I can toggle the check mark on and off in the View menu, but I can't for the life of me find it anywhere. I've closed every Browser window, I've minimized every window on the desktop, I can't locate anywhere it is minimized on the screen. Obviously, I must have done something silly or or am blind, but I just can't find it anymore, which is making it hard to work.

Please advise.

Hi @df_umich,

In rare cases, if you have multiple versions of HyperMesh Desktop installed there may be a graphical conflict and you may need to clear your Preferences.

Please run the HWCleanup Tool to reset HyperMesh Desktop preferences and repair interface graphics.

(C:\Program Files\Altair\2025\hwdesktop\utility\HWCleanup\HyperworksWindowsCleanup.bat)
