Inquiry About Installing FEKO with a Student License on a Server

Dear FEKO Support Team,

I am currently using FEKO with a Student License on my laptop, but my simulations are taking a long time to run and consuming significant disk space. I would like to know whether it is possible to install and run FEKO with a Student License on a server to improve performance.

If this is feasible, could you please provide guidance on the installation process and any specific requirements? I am working under a deadline, so I would greatly appreciate your prompt response.

As far as I know, this is the case:

The Altair Feko Student Edition is designed for installation and use on single-user computers and requires individual license activation on the respective device. The use of this student version on a server is therefore not intended and is not supported by Altair.

For the installation and operation of Altair Feko on a server, a commercial license is required that allows use in a server-client environment. These licenses make it possible to install the software on a server and access it from multiple clients.

If you intend to install Altair Feko on a server, for example to increase computing power or allow multiple users access, you should contact your university administrator or Altair directly for information on appropriate licensing options.
