"EDEM Stuck at 2% While Converting SolidWorks File (Tried STEP 203, 214, and STL)"

"I created a CAD file in SolidWorks and tried to import it into EDEM, but the conversion process gets stuck at 2% and does not progress further. The file is small and consists of only one part, yet EDEM cannot load it.

I have tried exporting the file in different formats:
✔ STEP AP203
✔ STEP AP214
✔ STL

But none of them work. The file still gets stuck at 2% during conversion.

What could be causing this issue, and how can I fix it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!"

Hi ,

Looks like the CAD model is not clean, hence you're facing the above issue.

if you can try to export to .stp, iges and check whether that works or you can share the file if it is not confidential to test at my side.
