How can I impose a custom rotation value for my model? Let's say, to place the model in xy plane and then impose a 15-degree rotation around x.

    Hi @Toni_Georgiev ,

If you specify which tool you are asking about, by adding a TAG to your question or mentioning the tool, then someone will be able to assist.

    Of course. :)

The question is related to HyperMesh 2024.1

I have a further clarification, which is maybe needed to answer my question. I don’t need to move the parts in my model in relation to each other using the Move tool. I need instead to turn the model in a particular way to create a picture of it. However, I don’t want to do this by hand, since it’s too unprecise, so I need this custom rotation. I read something about a so called “Manipulator” which is used for this purpose, but I couldn’t find this tool in HyperMesh.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Great, someone who can assist with HyperMesh will probably reach out soon :)

You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to rotate by 15° increments by default. To change this increment, go into File>Preferences under Common>Application>Model control>Rotation angle:
