E-drive : encode base frequency and speedpole

Hi team...

I am using BLDC motor...in this motor magnetic encoder is provided with 4000 counts/revolution.
However, here I am attaching file for encoder base frequency which you can use in your diagram and you can see within the compound block the implementations using band pass filters (LPHPF) and Speedpole (2000Hz).
Can you please signify what is speed pole and why 2000 Hz value you have used here ?

processes sin and cos of the rotation angle to obtain speed.
The estimated frequency oftern noisy, which require filtering. The normal approch is Low Pass Filter(LPF) with cut off frequency related to motor charactristics.
    Cutoff Frequency = Speed Pole/100.
A lower "Speed pole" value gives a smoother result, but a longer lag in response. A higher "Speed pole" speed response but has more noise.

Here in the Diagram : It uses 2000/100 (20Hz) as the noise suppression.
